From Morocco, this is approximately : 12 X 6cm.This piece is a polished orthoceras (Orthoceras are related to ammonites and therefore were similar to squid and octopus) and approximately 400 million years old.The fossils are polished and raised from the matrix which has a contrasting rough finish.
